We welcome short and long term scholarly visitors and in the past, UW has hosted several researchers through respective institutes such as Fulbright Iceland.
We want to bring special attention to the Grimsson Fellowships, where scientists, researchers, experts, scholars and writers of any nationality can stay in Ísafjörður to work on their research and projects. The Grimsson Fellows are expected to give a lecture at UW while staying in the House of Grímur, or collaborate with the Centre in some other way.
The research manager at UW, Dr. Catherine Chambers, oversees general research activities such as letters of cooperation, grant applications, laboratory facilities, data and/or equipment sharing agreements, and publishing guidelines and outreach.
